Over fifteen years ago, God orchestrated a time for me to meet Lucy. She lives in North Kinangop, Kenya, Africa. When she was in her mid-20s, she began to care for the children of the streets who were without hope. Over the past eighteen years, she has set up an orphanage and she now cares for over 300 children. She named the orphanage Hope Community Center. With the help of people who come to know her and share her heart, she is able to give these children a secure place they can call home, a feeding program, and a government-approved education, in addition to sharing the word of God with them and teaching them technical skills.
